No author before her has ever achieved this: with her book "Das Kind in dir muss Heimat finden" (The Child Within You Must Find a Home), the well-known psychologist and bestselling author Stefanie Stahl has taken first place in the German Spiegel annual bestseller list in the "Paperback Non-Fiction" category for the sixth time in a row. "Das Kind in dir muss Heimat finden" was published in autumn 2015 by Kailash and has consistently occupied a place in the top five of the Spiegel paperback non-fiction list since April 2016. To date, the book has sold more than 2.5 million copies in the German-speaking markets. An English edition was published in 2020; in total, "Das Kind in dir muss Heimat finden" has been published in 34 countries.

Stefanie Stahl, graduate psychologist and author in independent practice in Trier, regularly gives lectures and seminars on her special fields of attachment anxiety, love and self-esteem. With the model of the sun and shadow child, she has developed a particularly pictorial and practical method for working with the inner child, which has also met with a great response internationally. The author is a sought-after speaker and is regularly requested as an expert for press publications and talk shows.
