Sarah Nisi and Alex Beer longlisted for the Crime Cologne Award 2021!

Sarah Nisi' debut novel "I Want to Be Close to You" and Alex Beer's fourth Inspector Emmerich novel "The Black Band" made it to the longlist of the Crime Cologne Award.

The shortlist will be announced on August 15th and the award ceremony will take place in mid-October.

With the "Crime Cologne Award", the organizers of the Crime Cologne Festival annually honor the best German-language crime novel of the year. The aim of the award is to put the spotlight on the German-language crime novel. The "Crime Cologne Award" will be presented in October 2021. The prize is endowed with € 3,000 which the winner will receive. All shortlist nominees will receive the honorary prize "The Silver Magnifying Glass".
