Marie Gamillscheg longlisted for German Book Prize 2022

Marie Gamillscheg’s novel An Uprising of Sea Creatures is among the 20 nominees on the longlist of the German Book Prize 2022.

The German Book Prize jury will select six novels from the nominated titles for the shortlist, which will be published on September 20, 2022. The award ceremony will take place on October 17, 2022, at the start of the Frankfurt Book Fair.

About the book:

Luise has gained a reputation as an excellent marine biologist. Her specialty is the sea walnut, a ghostly illuminated jellyfish living in the dark waters of the oceans.
