Dana Grigorcea longlisted for the German Book Prize 2021

Dana Grigorcea's novel Those Who Never Die ("Die nicht sterben") is among the 20 nominees on the longlist of the German Book Prize 2021.

The novel by the Romanian-Swiss writer, published by Penguin, paints an atmospheric portrait of post-communist Romanian society and has been earning continuous praise since its publication in March.

The German Book Prize jury will select six novels from the nominated titles for the shortlist, which will be announced on September 21, 2021. The award ceremony will take place on October 18, 2021, at the start of the Frankfurt Book Fair.
